The Position:
We are looking for a Regional Sales Director, Point of Care to identify new business opportunities and grow market share across multiple customer segments. This individual will maintain and communicate a high level of product knowledge to prospective customers in the evolving point-of-care space. As a Regional Sales Director, POC you will work closely with distribution partners, analysts, marketing leaders, and internal/external stakeholders to develop accurate forecasting and market penetration goals for the binx io. This key position will play a pivotal role in new business development and will act as a trusted resource to customers and partners looking to understand the binx io value proposition.
Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the diagnostic market space, including distribution, products, and buying practices to effectively communicate the binx io value proposition • Serve as a technical product expert to external stakeholders and prospective customers • Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with channel partners across all markets • Understand customer goals, priorities, and challenges to provide best-in-class service. • Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closure • Develop a strategic territory business plan to execute against demonstrating the ability to assess, optimize, or changed based on observations and experiences. • Accurately manage the sales process including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking tools • Perform lead generation activities including professional networking, cold calling, tradeshows, seminars, and product demonstrations • Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and perform required administrative sales duties (filing expense reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans)
Education, Experience and Demonstrated Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent sales experience • 5+ years of outside medical device/molecular diagnostics sales experience • Experience selling/contracting capital equipment, reagents, and consumables • Point-of-care CLIA waived system and cartridge sales experience strongly preferred • Consistent, proven achievement of QOQ and YOY quota attainment • Creative prospecting and consultative selling skills • Experience selling to the C-suite and other high-level decision-makers • Deadline and detail-oriented, with a specific focus on new business development • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for product knowledge and enhancing patient outcomes • Familiarity with CRM platforms, forecasting, and tracking KPIs (Salesforce.com experience preferred) • A collaborative attitude that is both resourceful and coachable • Self-starter that acts with a sense of urgency • Must have a valid Driver’s License and a vehicle to use for work on a daily basis
