Logistics Coordinator

The Position

The logistics Coordinator will report to our Logistics Manager. You will be joining a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment, providing support in logistics and inventory tracking. This role will play a key part in supporting the operations team.


  • Utilizing ByD for shipping Customer orders through the Sales Order process from demand to outbound deliver.
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
  • Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
  • Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and receiving
  • Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Tracking and fixing shipping errors
  • Resolving low impact issues at the lowest level to assure customer satisfaction
  • Preparing shipping documents (future state) and outbound deliveries to allow timely invoicing.
  • Create Commercial documents for international export/import
  • Coordinate with freight Forwarders and customs brokers for shipments as necessary
  • Reconciling inventory to warehouse shipments and receipts
  • Managing distribution and shipment budgets
  • Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
  • Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized

Education, Experience, and Demonstrated Skills

  • 3 +years of logistics and inventory tracking experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced logistics operations role.
  • Experience working with quality standards (ideally ISO 13485) and in organizations operating within quality management systems.
  • Good understanding of ERP systems and processes (SAP BYD preferred).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel.
  • Firm understanding of purchasing standards (PO types, when and where to use, approval requirements, use of requestions, etc.).
  • Knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing operations, demand forecast planning, and logistics.
  • Experience with ISO & Sox audits, INCO, and UCC terms and experience working with PARS.
  • Familiar with Process and compliance demands of financial transactions.
  • Process improvement understanding and order management experience.
