The Position

The Senior Software Engineer, Medical Devices will work with our cross-functional software and device teams from our UK office to develop FDA-regulated medical device software that delivers diagnostic results that are clear and actionable. You will be counted on to contribute to realizing a product that is intuitive, reliable, and secure.



  • Enhance and maintain an embedded, medical grade .NET/C# application to support new assays under development and to improve the reliability and efficiency
  • Complete upgrade to Windows IoT Core and UWP
  • Identify areas that should be refactored to increase reliability, maintainability, and security
  • Integrate the software with the IoT telemetry and deployment tooling
  • Build a test harness and integrate into the CI process
  • Upgrade existing tooling to support emulating the device in a VM or similar technology
  • Drive code quality and standards
  • Assist in troubleshooting software issues experienced during lab operations
  • Assure that our product matches or exceeds our patients’ or clinicians’ expectations


Education, Experience, and Demonstrated Skills:

  • BS in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience in the software industry
  • Expert knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms
  • Experience working with FDA regulated software and diagnostic devices
  • Experience developing Windows Universal Apps and IoT Core
  • Demonstrable aptitude towards learning new technologies
