Our suite of medical guideline driven, at-home testing solutions for STIs and COVID-19 are designed to reach the many who are unwilling or unable to visit a physical location.

The Position

The Senior Software Engineer, Medical Devices will work with our cross-functional software and device teams from our UK office to develop FDA regulated medical device software that delivers diagnostic results that are clear and actionable. You will be counted on to contribute to realizing a product that is intuitive, reliable, and secure.


  • Enhance and maintain an embedded, medical grade .NET/C# application to support new assays under development and to improve the reliability and efficiency
  • Complete upgrade to Windows IoT Core and UWP
  • Identify areas that should be refactored to increase reliability, maintainability, and security
  • Integrate the software with the IoT telemetry and deployment tooling
  • Build a test harness and integrate into the CI process
  • Upgrade existing tooling to support emulating the device in a VM or similar technology
  • Drive code quality and standards
  • Assist in troubleshooting software issues experienced during lab operations
  • Assure that our product matches or exceeds our patients’ or clinicians’ expectations


  • BS in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience in software industry
  • Expert knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Windows Forms
  • Experience working with FDA regulated software and diagnostic devices
  • Experience developing Windows Universal Apps and IoT Core
  • Demonstrable aptitude towards learning new technologies
